2010 eRX Incentive Program
Where to begin?
You DO NOT need to register to participate in this incentive program. Begin by submitting the G-code on your claims according to the guidelines below or submit the information required by the measure to CMS via MediSYS EHR, an ONC-Certified EHR system.
2010 CMS Incentive Guidelines & Reporting Verification
For 2010, there is one ePrescribe G-code (G8553) to be submitted with a visit code. For more information on CMS reporting for the ePrescribe measure visit http://www.cms.gov/ERXincentive/
Also, note that CMS strongly encourages practices to verify carrier receipt of incentive codes for ePrescribe and PQRI on remittances. The remittance code for eRX and PQRI codes is N365.
N365 reads: “This procedure code is not payable. It is for reporting/information purposes only.” The N365 remark code does NOT indicate whether the eRx G-code is accurate for that claim or for the measure the eligible professional is attempting to report. N365 only indicates that the code passed into NCH.
2010 eRx Incentive Payments
The remittance you will get will end with RX10 IRS Levy
To track the payment consider setting up a Payment Account and creating an eRx incentive payment code.
