Standard Scanning features are included with MediSYS EHR. In addition, MediSYS DocForms is an option for advanced scanning and incoming fax routing with MediSYS EHR and MediSYS EHR Lite.  Used to streamline and speed the scanning of paper documents as well as provide electronic routing of incoming faxes, MediSYS DocForms is an excellent tool for busy practices! Great for converting paper charts into an electronic format, MediSYS DocForms allows for a full chart to be scanned at one time, direct to the patient’s appropriate chart tabs.  In addition, using customizable route sheets and forms, DocForms generates a bar code to enable scanning of multiple patient records at one time. Simplifies and speeds the process of getting any paper documents you may receive to your patient’s MediSYS Electronic Health Record. Eliminates fax printing then scanning or uploading incoming faxes by electronically routing those documents to the patient’s chart.  Also, DocForms automates the electronic “filing” of patient-completed forms by generating a bar code which routes the forms direct to the patient’s chart.
